As Veg Patch Kitchen Cookery School approaches its 8th anniversary there are some big changes taking place here at VPK HQ. 

The past two years have been difficult as a small business owner, first with the pandemic and now with increasing running costs and the squeeze on everyone’s purses.

The uptake of my face to face courses is considerably down on pre-Covid times and it seems now is the best time to make decisions about the business going forward. I am fully committed to the Ironbridge courses that are in the diary to the end of December 2022. However, as of January 2023 the courses at Ironbridge will be taking a hiatus until the economy recovers and people find confidence in spending again. A waitlist will be available, so if you want to come along to a course from January 2023 you can join this list and once demand is sufficient the courses will be resumed. 

My online Bread Made Easy Membership and my online courses will continue to be available. I have designed my membership to be both affordable and offer maximum value in terms of helping you to achieve success with your bread making. I have tried to make my online courses as much like having me in your kitchen with you as possible.

If you have an outstanding gift voucher please book onto one of the courses that are available from September through to December. If you can’t find a date to suit you then do get in touch and I will do my best to add a date to the diary. The value of your gift voucher can also be used against the Bread Made Easy Membership or buying individual online courses (joining the membership gives you access to all of my online courses plus our monthly live demo and bread chat, Bread Social, and so offers the best value). 

This is a positive move to help VPK survive the current economic pressures and although it has been a difficult decision to make it feels like the right one for the business and for our family right now. 

Veg Patch Kitchen Cookery School is still very much here to help you make great bread just in a slightly different way.
