Evening course 15th September

We had our first evening class at Little Wenlock Village Hall last night and it was a great success. We managed to make plenty of different breads in the three hours and the facilities proved to be fantastic. We started with a  white bread dough, from which we made white loaves, pizza, fougasse and focaccia. I demonstrated a soda bread to show how quickly bread can be rustled up at home.  We then made a spelt loaf, using the folding method. I demonstrated Shropshire Butter Buns and Iced Fingers from a prepared enriched dough. We enjoyed our pizza and the lemon and poppyseed cake that I had made for the evening with plenty of tea and coffee. I am really looking forward to the next evening class on 6th October. There are a few places still remaining so book now to secure your place and learn to make bread with us.
